A 5 MW solar power plant in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand witnessed a significant boost in the company’s reputation of doing complex projects. Solid Solar’s 5 MWp Solar PV Plant in the hilly regions of Uttarakhand is ONE OF THE BIGGEST IN THE HILLY REGIONS OF THE STATE as well as ONE OF THE HIGHEST POWER GENERATING SOLAR PLANTS (GENERATION per KWp) IN THE REGION.

A 5 MW Solar Plant with approx 14500 panels in the hilly region is a difficult task, considering the challenges of terrain and other Issues.

Thanks to the superior engineering & product quality, it is one of the highest

power generating solar plants in the region. The plant generated up to 17 % more power when compared to most others in the vicinity. These results are based on an apple-to-apple comparison by collecting 6 months data of electricity generation through inverter as well as meter reading & billing data. The data was gathered for 40-50 solar plants in the region to make this comparison.

Gautam Solar supplied the PV modules to EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) firm Solid Solar Private Limited for the setting up of this Solar PV power plant at Uttarkashi.
